Rogério Cunha, aka CakesFactory, is since child an Electronic Music lover, particularly for the deep and soulful side of House Music. His first experience as DJ, then with 15 years, was in a hotel bar with rudimentary equipment. After that, already with 17 years, he finally gets his first pair of turntables, which was a fundamental step in his relation with music. With sporadically shows as DJ, he continued the studies without, however, leaving the music behind. After a stop period to get a job, Cakes Factory created the DeeperSoul Blog to share his love for deep/soulful House and to promote the genre and its artists.
Not wanting to reduce the blog to something strictly personal, he invited diverse djs to participate and it grew up very fast. Then he created the DeeperSoul Sessions, mixed sets by himself and friends, available for listen/download, and Interviews. Currently, DeeperSoul Blog receives regular participations from djs all over the world (Portugal, France, Italy, England, U.S.A., Canada, Africa of the South, etc.) and it’s recognized as one of the most important online resources for Soulful House Music.
